suspension difference between cars?

Hey guys. Well here's the scoop. My old man picked up a parts car the other day for $50.00. Good quarters and doors, hatch, t-tops, and good body panels. Its an 82-84 Z28. I was wondering are the front and rear sway bars bigger than the ones on my 86 Sports Coupe and if there are any other differences in the suspension between them. Thanks guys.

Bigger bars? Probably... I'd look for some off a WS6 car though, but the Z28 ones should be better than what yours has I would think, assuming stock.

Measure them and see.

The springs would be as worn out as yours, if not more so; and therefore no better.

Look to see if it has the little triangular braces all around the front end, where the "frame" part of the unibody and the K-member meet. Those stiffen up the front end considerably. There would be about 6 little pieces all around there if the car is equipped with them.

what kind of cars came with these such braces?

oh, and another thing to look for is if the LCA's have two bolts sticking out the sides of them.. that means the car has brackets that bolt into your stock LCA's and box them.
