Pro kit or sportline?

I'am puting some 18's on my car this winter and I'm also doing a complete suspension rebuild, subframe connectors, lca's,panhard, lca relocators, torque arm, and sway bars.Anyway,I can't decide between the eibach pro kit or the sportline kit.I want the best most aggressive stance I can get but I don't want to be sraping the ground.I'm leaning towards the prokit but I'm not positive.I know nolans t/a has sportlines and it looks friggin awsome.Any ideas?I want to put some 275's on the back.

Go with the sportlines, if your doing the suspension are you doing the shocks and struts too, b/c if you arent you should . I really think you should do the sportlines, they really arent too low , the only thing that scrapes is the air dam. Ive never had anything else scrape. I was in the same boat as you , i wanted it low and i was afraid that the prokit was gonna be too high. Get the sportlines and you wont regret it .

I love the stance my sportlines give my car but if I ever go with a taller tire in the rear I will switch to the Pro kit. I think the perfect stance for your average 3rd gen is sportlines up front and pro kits in the rear. What tire height are you goin to go with. Here is mine with a 275/40/17.

In my experience so far, the Prokits are low enough for these cars on a daily driver. I manage to scrape on driveways pretty frequently, mostly because a lot of the driveways around here are after a sidewalk, which is just high enough above the street level to give me problems. Sportlines would force me to park in the street.

I like the Prokit stance a lot. I honestly think if I were to go any lower (which I would like to do eventually), I would rather have an adjustable air ride system.

Sportlines with 18" wheels? No way...the Pro Kit is all you need unless you just like dragging on everything on the road. I have the Pro Kit and stock 16" wheels, 245/50-16 tires and I'm scraping my trans pan on average height speed bumps.

I've got the sportlines and smack the sh*t out of my t56 xmembers. I don't mind though. There's a huge chunk of it that hangs down into nowhere. I maybe chop a quarter coil off of these in a few weeks. I think it needs to be just a hair lower...

the chrysler rear end is 3/16 of an inch narrower over the width of the whole thing. the rear tires are 275 35 18 . I would of loved to try 40 series but i didnt know if they would fit or look crappy .

I would not suggest the 35 series tires, because that leaves more gap between the tires and the top of the fender, and reduces ground clearance. Now you have to lower it MORE to get the right appearance. The idea is to fill the fenderwells with tire, and make the car appear as low as possible.

For appearance, ground clearance, and handling, go with the tallest circumfrence tire you can so it fills the fenderwells and looks nice and low. Go with the biggest diameter wheels you can, so the tires don't look like you stole them off a conestoga wagon.

Your springs are likyl shot and sagging causing you to scrape. Sometimes people get lowering springs and their ride height does not change because their stockers were so worn out. If I remember correctly my sportlines dropped the front of my car about 1.5" and the rear around 2". I also added my wheels and tires at the time so my overall ride height didn't change much with the taller tires. Just like any f-bod you have to pull into driveways and entrances slowly and at an angle. I never really srape on anything because I just take things slow. Sometimes, depedning on the weight of the passenger, I will scrape my cat on speed bumps and every now and then my relocation brackets snag one as well. These cars are so low from the get go that I didn't really notice any adverse scraping.

my 140k mile ws6 springs didnt net me any drop when i went to a pro kit, but they make alot better ride. im running 245/45/17 tires, and theres a little too much gap for me, if i was going to go for looks. but since the pro kit is coming out, and drag launch going in...

i just realized i dont have any pics after the springs settled, ill try and take some tonight

Hey im looking at putting some 295/30ZR18 tires on some 18x10s out back and a 275/40ZR17 in front combined with the Sportline springs and Bilstein Sports on all 4s would something like this work. The rear end is a slightly wider 4th gen rear. All this going onto a 91 Black GTA.

I have only heard of 295/35/18s not 30s. I am probably going to go with some 285/40/18s on 10s in the future.

295/30R18's are the standard Porsche rear tire. But anyways to keep the Speedo gear in check for every inch in tire size you going up the side wall has to go down 10mm does it not. Hence when you go to the 245/50R16 you step up to 17's and the side goes to 275/40r17 ..This way you keep the same exact profile as the orginal 245/50R16. And the Speedo gear is still correct.
