Hey everyone,
After saving up some money i went to go order my xps today (my favorite wheel). Well long story short they stoped making them due to a defect. So i called a couple other places and found three 17 by 8.5s. I need four and was wondering if any of you might know where i could get 4 17 by 8.5 or 17 by 9 inch weld pro star xps.

If you found out they stopped making them because of a defect, WHY would you still want to buy a set out there that hight have that defect?

What was found to be wrong with them? had to be something They had concerns about to stop making them. If its something simple did they say if they are gona fix the problem and re release them? if so I'd wait. Just so I had a peace of mind knowing they were OK.

 

you have a very good point. Ive never heard anything about the defect with them. They guy at weld wheels didnt even know. He just said that their was a defect with them and he hasent seen them in stock for a month. I never heard anything bad about them. I guess the better question is when will they start making them again. I want pro stars but if not ill get ronalds.

personally i like the xp's in 17 although the ronals are nice. i tried to get a set last year for the track, my order was backordered for 10 months.

 

I agree the Xp's look awesome in 17's that what I wanted to get. Those or the Ronals. In a 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear.

but now hearing about the XP problem I dont want em. I'd still like to know what defect they have.
