Say you were going to use a set of Spohn sub frame connectors that weld in along the seam of the underbody, as well as a S&W race cars 8 point roll cage/bar.
Would it be better to weld the cage directly to the subframe connectors or use the supplied plates they give you to weld it to the body?

I actually was trying to find out if tying it to the subframe connectors would make it a good deal more rigid than with the weld in plates that attach to the body supplied with the kit?
If I would never know the difference between the two, then no way would I cut through the floor and make a lot of extra work for myself.
Thanks
