grabbing iroc parts: what did i forget?
hey, i just recently aquired access to an iroc parts car and wondering what i should grab for my RS? i already know about the sway bars and wonderbar, what else suspension/chassis/brakes/etc should i grab? unfortunately, the rear end is already gone (was hoping i could get something better than my 2.73/open/drum setup). so what am i forgetting? thanks

good idea on the springs. didnt think of those. same with gear box. i did plan on the sways and the wonderbar. unfortunately, the hood and rear are gone and the fog lights are broken. thanks again everyone.

Even through the fog lights are broken, their mounting hardward, brackets, wiring, and switch are, if nothing else, sellable. The grill itself might be worthwhile too.

well, here's my final take from the car. realize this is what i had to fight with:
-rearended, hatch completely smashed
-no rearend holding the car off the ground
-1ft of snow covering everything
so this what i got:
-wonderbar (good find for my baby)
-grill (camaro on it, needs to be repainted)
-dual fan setup (will be nice to have a manual fan switch for the second)
-passenger side grid tailight (anyone got a nice driver side for sale?)
-misc wiring pigtails (converting to a megasquirt setup, so i will be using some. lemme know if there's a particular one you may need, i may have a couple extras...)
so all in all, not a bad grab. would have liked to grab the sway bars, but i had absolutely no access or reach to the end links, so they stayed on. also couldnt pull anything good from the foglight setup, they were not in good reach. oh, and the gearbox was too covered with snow to see, let alone get at. so that will wait for another day.
