Spring rates for 87 IROC??

Car: 84 Trans AM (sold), 87 IROC, 09 C6
Engine: Lt1 in IROC
Transmission: 5 speeds
Axle/Gears: Moser 12 bolt tru tracker 3.42
Spring rates for 87 IROC??
Does anybody know what the factory spring rates were for an 87 IROC? I would like to lower the car and get some stiffer springs for it, but before I go shopping, it would be nice to know what the current springs are. There used to be a guy in the nieghborhood that had a spring tester- he tested a set of springs I had from a 1LE- they were 485 lbs/in. I think I need stiffer. The car is used mostly for open track days at road courses. Thanks for any help. Pat

i know that the eibachs pro kit are 710 lbs front and like 130 lbs rear.i have suspention tech springs and they are a 1" drop with a 608lbs front sprngs and a 99-190 progressive rate in the rear car feels good.get and eibach kit or a hotchkis.

Hey thanks for the info. Does your car handle pretty well with these springs? I guess they lower the ride a bit over stock IROC springs? WHere"s a good place to buy the eibachs? Summit? Thanks Pat
