well I searched and didn't find what I was looking for. I am putting these on and was wondering exactly how to do this. things like, do I lift the back end of the car and the rear end? do I just put a jack under the center section and lift the wheels off the ground? what tools do I need to remove the LCA's? do I have to worry about getting tension out of my rear springs and wrap them some how? once I bolt the brackets in place do I just weld them right there or should I connect up the LCA's to the bracket and then weld the brackets?if you guys could answer these questions that would be great.

 

Jcck the car up with the rear put stands under the body frame rails then put some stands under then axel tubes.

 

And make sure that you've chocked the front wheels to keep them from moving in either direction, if the front isn't in the air already...

 

Yeh if you have enough stands i would put the whole car up in the air would make it easier.

 

so what about the welding, do I hook the LCA's up to the brackets and welnd or is that not needed?

Just bolt up the bracket then weld it on.

 

just buy the bmr bolt in lcas, thunderracing sells them , they are great and then you dont have to worry about alignment . And if you want to you could weld them in . The locate off the original hole and off the hole that the shock goes in .

 

I already have the brackets, I just wanted to know if there really is ever an alignment issue

 

Weld both of the brackets and the same spot and ull be good.

 

if you weld, you do that before you hook up LCA's. They get attached to the original LCA mounts on the rear end and I vote for having them welded in.
