i've seen some 205/65's on those wheels. if your gonna be on the street alot, i might look into the 15x5's.

Thanks!

My problem is I have 13" brakes on the front of my Corvette
Welds with 2 1/4" backspace will not clear the calipers
15 x 3.5 welds have 1 3/4" backspacing and do clear.
165/80-15 are not as tall as I would like, but the recommended rim width for the larger sizes call for 5" rims.I need imput
from other racers as to which larger tires can fit on these
3 1/2" rims,anybody else?

You're not going to find a "tall" street tire to fit on a 3.5" rim. The 165R15 tires are 25.5 - 26" tall. A 205/65 is the same height but a bit wider. The only tall skinny tire would be a drag front runner. They have very short life spans when used on the street and cost 2-3 times as much as the 165R15 street tires..

buy 165R15s, there is nothing wrong with using them even for a daily driver.

obviously they wont handle and brake as well as a larger tire.
