Performance gains 34mm hollow vs. 36mm hollow

My question is what are the performance gains from a 2mm difference. I have a sweet looking red 34 mm bar that I would like to put on, but I think my stock piece is 36. They are both hollow. Just wondering if I will be the difference in replacing the endlinks, bushings, and using the 34 over the tired old pieces with the original 36. Thanks fellas

What is wrong with your stock sway bar?

Ditto. The 36 is stronger. I had my 36/24 combo powder coated.

36mm is on my autocross car and it is going to stay. I will just be adding new endlinks and bushings.

only reason I wanted to swap was because I was gonna be under there and shiny new parts always bug me until they are installed. I purchased a 34mm for my old 86 and never got around to installing it because she got totalled. Its just sitting and I wanted to throw it on there. Oh well, guess I will just keep the stock and maybe have her powdered someday

I'm almost positive that 1LE Camaros got a 36mm front.

My 89 iroc is not a 1LE but she has 36 and 24mm swaybars. I thought it was odd myself. Took some measurements the other day. In any event they're comin off for some powdercoating and the front suspension needs an overhaul

Some Camaros, 89-92 , and some Firebirds, 86-92, were equipped with the 36/24 combo.
