Why did Spohn..............................
Why did spohn make a strut tower brace for the 4th gen before the 3rd gen? When we have heard promises of one for years now. just curious not ripping on him i have all his parts on my car and would like a STB at some point.

I've been waiting on one that will fit a dual snorkel set-up for several years--at one time Mr. Spohn was at least considering manufacturing one. Whether that's still the case, I'm unsure.

Kat summed it up, but pretty much the fourth gen STB was easy to make, whereas a thirdgen STB would have to take into account three different intake setups and be able to clear them all cleanly. I tried figuring out an intuitive way to design them onto a stock carb setup, and it's damn near impossible without copying Edelbrock or modifying the air cleaner housing.
I'm sure Steve has something up his sleeve, but we probably won't see it for quite a while.
