s10 front spindles same as thirdgen?

s10 front spindles same as thirdgen?
I heard a something about s10 spindles from 82-93 being the same as 82-92 thirdgen spindles. Is this true? Im very curious because they dont make any drop spindles for thirdgens but they do make them for s10s, which is preffered way id like to lower the front.

Now the control arms are said to be the same. I looked for a 2" drop control arm, nope, just 3"
