Looks like Herb Adams parts. The LCA's are worth about $200. I can't remember what the panhard is worth.

I sold my LCAs a year or 2 ago but still use the panhard bar.

You probably did decent for the tubing, bushings, and jam nuts if the tubing is aluminum.

The rod ends (heim joints) are probab35*ly shot though. You're looking at 6 of them at $35/each for the good ones (QA1 teflon lined).

I hate to tell ya but the rodends are most likely shot. They look pretty banged up in the picture and of course they will "move freely" when they are more worn, they don't get tighter.

Those tube arms can be bought in either aluminum or steel for about 15$ per arm through Coleman Racing and for about $20 for the longer panhard rod tube. The rodends and jamnuts are what are going to cost you to replace and you had better use the QA1 stronger quality ones like Spohn offers. By the time you are said and done you will be spending more money for those used tubes and new rodends than you would have just buying new Spohn units.

Here's some info and pricing on rodends so you can understand the quality difference and what good rodends cost.

This info was posted and comes up easily under a search

Yeah rod ends that "move freely" aren't in very good shape. That'd mean they have some play because new rod ends need a bit of force to move (not difficult...I just wouldn't say they 'move easily').

As stated, expect to replace each of them at $35/each. Jam nuts are fairly cheap, $2-3 each or so. That's $228+70 = $298. Right around the same price as Spohn.

On my car, I'm staying with poly LCAs for now. I haven't installed them yet, but they are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. I'll probably put them in the same time I put in my new rod-ended aluminum PHB that I should be picking up in a few days

I would get poly lined rod ends for the chassis side. Thats what i used when i built my arms and panhard just like that. The poly ends are cheap, $15.

$35 for rod ends?

I'd go with summit rod ends.. $11 each with jam nut.

For cheap stuff. Good quality rod ends are $35/ea on average, with the "high end" stuff being around $50/ea.

Ask the other Dean (RTFC) about rod end quality.

FYI, speedwaymotors.com has the good 3/4 QA1 rod ends for $25 each. Part numbers 910-02336 and 910-2136. The $11 rod ends from summit just don't have the strength to keep the axle in the car. If money is the issue I would keep the worn out ones untill I had the money.

It's not a thickness question, they'll get noisy real quick on a street car. It's just not worth buying cheap rod ends IMO, even on a race car.
