Time for new springs???
Got a '91 Z28 with stock springs. The rear sits uneven, i mean it is a difference of around 3/4 in. (you can tell just by looking at it) my question is, what is the stock ride height of these cars? I know that my springs have sagged somewhat cuz they are uneven now but i like the overall ride height. Would stock replacement springs raise my ride height noticably to the point that say a 1" drop spring would be needed to retain the current ride height. I just dont know how much these springs actually sag over time and im am sure they are all a little different. Ill post some pics to show current ride height.

Vograth sent u a PM and is there no one out there that can give me a hand with this? Cuz from what i have read through searches it seems that most people see a significant increase in ride height when they put the new springs in. i like height the car sits at right now and i would like to keep it there. ANy help please

hmmmm
Maybe it's different for Z28's than for RS's ... but hmmm that looks pretty much like my current ride height .. and my buddy's Z28 wasn't really any lower hmm that I can remember
But then of course *lol* I MAY have saggy springs too *l*

Go with an Eibach Pro Kit, and you should be happy with ride height. I think that'd put you right around where you are now in terms of height.

Oh thanks for the busted shock tip...now if I went with a lowering spring would i have also get relocation brackets to keep the correct geometry? I have never delt with lowering springs B4 and i dont want to get in knee deep and then realize im all wrong.
And by the way She is stored in the winter but i just finnished the wheels while i was on break and felt the need for a photo op.
