if the struts are the originals you might want to replace them while youre at it.

koni
bilstien
tokico

theres a few nice brands, in that order.

not for the prokit; the drop isnt too extreme, if you were going much lower youd want to consider an adjustable panhard rod.

That depends on the scope of "required." You can lower a car with just springs, but to do it so it's low and your suspension works optimally, you need to get LCA relocation brackets, new struts and shocks, adjustable lower control arms, an adjustable panhard bar and an adjustable torque arm. New upper strut mounts will probably be needed as well. Not to mention the array of bushings, bolts and nuts that will need replacement.

But if you just want to lower it, sure the springs are all you need.

From the little I know:

I think more like this- possibly new spring isolators- really an adjustable panhard bar is needed to center the rear correctly- that's it

remember to index the springs

optional - like Baer bunp steer kit - HD tie rod ends

I've heard before that LCA relocation brackets are really a drag mod - I think it was Sam Strano that said they are a bad idea for a handling mod - How many SCCA guys run lower control arm relocation brackets? not too many- if any,

I guess there used to correct the pinion angle of the drive shaft.

I also hear if you do use them it's best to get them welded.

good luck....

I do. They are a necessary tool for a lowered car and setting the LCA angle to promote roll understeer. Its all on how stiff the suspension sways and where the inside and outside arms angle when set into a corner is what determines where the stagnant mounting hight begins at. Note I am not in the bottom hole, but I am very low.

And the brackets have nothing to do with setting pinion angles at all. That is solely the job of the torque arm and its adjustment range.
