Old BMR adjustable pandhard question.
Hey,
I just put my aquired BMR panhard bar in and need to adjust it. It's the old style with screw in bushings at each end with lock nuts. No center adjuster.
It seems the lock nuts are locktighted, and I was just curious if anyone knew if they were standard threads at each end? I would hate to try and loosen one and wind up tightening it..

As far as I know, one should be a right handed thread and the other left handed. It is just a elaborate turn buckle.

That was it! I assumed that since mine didn't look like the current ones it had to be adjusted off the car.. I just backed off both nuts and turned it by hand.. Took a while to figure out which side was reverse thread though...
FYI, the side that has the nut shaped spot in the tube is the reverse thread side..
