think i have a small problem
heres the deal. i just put in a PA Racing tubular front crossmember and spohn tubular A arms and i also have eibach springs. the problem is that the car just about sits on the ground. i deffinately cant drive this thing like this. has anyone ever had this problem before. is there something else that i had to get. if i put the stock springs back in do you think that the front end will go up. here are some pics of it.
this is how the car use to sit with the eibach spring, factory crossmember, and factory A arms

I haven't tried PA or other aftermarket crossmembers or A-arms, so not much help there...given the difference in ride heights it's a safe guess that the geometry is different.
I have a few other spring sets here in Randolph if you want to borrow and test. Moog 5662, 5608, and a set of aftermarket 800# on the shelf.

I think it looks great!
Have you tried driving it? Are you having clearance issues?
Do the tires rub lock to lock?
You definately filled the wheel wells without having to go up in wheel size.
I might have to give that mod a shot..way better stance than I currently have with just the eibach pro springs.

im more worried about ground clearance than anything else. the crossmember sit about 3 1/2 inches off the ground. and the bellhousing is about 3 inches off the ground. with the car the way it is now, i highly doubt that i could get in or out of my driveway.

I guess I will need to measure where I am at right now.
It is probably sitting lower than that picture is showing.
I was just looking at your wheel wells when I read your post.
Ur right, 3.5 inches doesn't leave much room for even a driveway entrance let alone a speed bump.

Looks good though!

well i guess i made some progress. i put the factory springs in and i gained 1 inch. i only did the driver side today. i measured from the ground to the bottom of the ground effect right behind the front tire and i now have 8 inches. it was 7 inches. does anyone have the factory measurement. it is such a pain in the *** to get the springs in. im using an internal compresser but you can only compress it a certain amount(which of corse is not enough) because the thread rod will hit the frame and you wont be able to get the spring in. that and the spring keeps hitting the tube that goes between each bushing on the a arm. that makes it extremely difficult to install the spring. i gess im going to have to deal with it because its to much of a pain to keep switching springs. it took me about 2 hours to do one side and it was a two man job getting that spring in.
