Axle Decoding HELP!!!!

im trying to find out what kind of axle is in my car and i know that you can pull off the diff cover and find out that way but i just want to know now just out of curiosity.
all i found on the axle was
BQ
GM N
22522676
K3 D _ _ 4
(this is on the bottom of the diff. and those blanks are unreadable.)
now i already looked on the passenger front side of the axle tubing but i didnt find anything

None of those numbers are any good. You'll have to recheck the front of the passenger tube towards the inside. Clean the axles with a wire brush. The numbers will be there.

If the diff is still original, it will be 6JG
3.08 gears and an open diff.
