Torque Arm questions

When I bought my 84 v6 Camaro it had no transmission in it. I've gotten everything hooked back up and back together. Except the torque arm. I was wondering if anyone could etail hooking this thing back up, and what would problems would I run into if its not hooked up? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Two bolts mount the torque arm on the differential, and the front slips into a rubber bushing in a clamshell type of mount bolted to the tailshaft housing of the transmission. You need a torque arm, it's the only thing keeping your differential from rotating.

Not all stock arms are stamped the same way. Not quite sure how to explain it but some face one way and some the other.

I seem to have lost(actually the ppl I bought the car from lost) the clamp part that bolts to the transmission, how much should I expect to pay for this part? and would ebay or a jyard be the easiest place to get it?

Use the right bushing in the front and it won't matter which you have.

A junkyard would probably be easiest.
