Faint clunking from the front that goes away with brakeing
I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum for this. But their is a faint clunking noise that seems to be comming from the passenger side whenever I hit a bump. If I apply the brakes and hit a bump it doesn't make the sound.
This started happening about a week after I changed my pads. I'm not sure if it's just coincidence or not but I went back and checked to make sure everything was tight and it is.
I know my struts are pretty bad and am thiking that is the source of the noise but does that sound right that applying the brakes would eliminate the noise?

Yes I bent them down. That was my first thought when I got the noise so I actually pulled them back off once to make sure I remembered.
