Ok boys... Make this baby hook.
ok at the local 1/8 mile I am running consistant 7.7's @ 95mph and I want to make this bitch hook. I have hotchkins LCA's, GR2 front struts, and gas adjusts out back... Thats it.
I have a stock stall still, and I know when I put a nice sized one in my 700 R4 she will pull them wheels up (she spins the rims inside the slicks I need to tap them...)
help me out guys, my best 60' is a 1.8...

I would agree with the Spohn TQ arm, there are a lot of guys running real hard and hooking well with that setup. I have the Spohn and love it, very nice piece. With your power, I'd recommend the complete assembly in which the TQ arm bolts to the crossmember.

GEt some real bais ply stickies and your done!!
Those DR are fine and good for going fast, but dead hooking-especially in the summer heat on less than ideal tracks is near impossible.
I've said it before, you can cover up alot of less than perfect suspension/chasis tuning with bias ply's, but you must have the car perfect before constantly hooking with DR, even then your not going to be 100% repeatable.
Not ******* ya, just stating the way it is.

That looks familier hehe...

Stock suspension other than the Spohn torque arm, no clue what the rear shocks or front struts are, 26x11.50x15 Hoosier QT Pro tires. I started spinning the tires after a jet change and never got a chance to lower the pressure more to get it hooked back up, broke a pushrod on the last run

I'm with IHI, get some Mickey Thompson ET drags. 28x10.5's will fit with just a little banging on the inside depending on your wheel back spacing. I run 28.0x10.5 W's. Your running just a little mph less than I am, my car goes 6.90's. @ 98 mph
so when you hook you should pick up alot.

after you get the tires, and if you still need a little more, get a SHORTER TQ arm.
brand has nothing to do with it..... but the length has everything.
you'll want one thats slight more then half the length of the stocker, and has a adjustible pinion angle... something like this...

Keep the longer torque arm, the stock one works fine... I had a stock suspension car into the 11's with Mickey Sportsman Pro's @ 8 psi. The shorter torque arm and/or lca brackets are actuallty going to make the car shock the tires a lot harder than the stock set up (especially with more stall), so it's actually more likely to spin. Get it to hook with the stock set up (I.E. tires) and then soften it up..... THEN go with a shorter torque arm and lca brackets.
Cliffs: Converter, tires, shocks/springs, THEN work on the instant center.

90/10, no sway bar, SLICKS, air bag in RR, drag launch springs, and the tq arm is a good idea, you can bend the stock one

Not a drag person here, but from the picture it looks as if your right side is squatting quite a bit more then left.
So I say airbag the right rear, and larger swaybar.
I see nothing about posi axle? Is it?
Get the tires to quit spinning on rim.

90/10 drag struts, moroso trick springs, ET streets or Drags, and remove the front sway bar..that will give you consistent low 60' times. Adjustable torque arm would be good too but I think the struts and springs are a better bang for buck mod.

What does it mater, when none of his connect up to the stock mounting. Thats why your order his arm, with the t56 cross brace. Problem solved

You spin the tires on the rim with only 1.8 60 ft's? Do you know if when those tires were put on if they put them on "dry"? My suspension is all stock with 27x10.5 QTP's has gone 1.70's leaving @ 1500RPM quickly going into the throttle (not stabbing/smashing it). It dead hooks and next time out it should definately high 1.6's on motor. Next time out at the track I'm gonna spray it off the line and see what happens... At the rate it hooks now I think it might hook.
With a stock converter you must really be making some power to be spinning the rim AND not hooking.

I launch at 6k w/ 11psi and cut a 1.66 and the tires didn't spin on the rim. I don't know what's going on w/ his car.
