just painted my wheels. i have GTAs. i need spaceers to make them fit my 86 bird. how big do i need and how many do i need? i dont know anythng about this stuff. this is the last thing i need before i can make this car road worthy. ive been workin on this for almost a year. and i have my license now and want to get this thing on the road. please help.

You shouldn't need spacers to run a stock wheel/tire combo. Just make sure you have the "Fronts" on the front, and the "Rears" on the rear. They have different offsets for front and back. Fronts are around 4" backspacing, rears are a hair over 5".Originally posted by casebaseball205

Your Firebird should have the same fitment specs as the Trans Am GTA that those wheels came OEM on, so you shouldn't need any spacers at all.
thanks for the info guys. i didnt realize that they were marked fornt and rear. ill look into it after work today and report back. that owuld make sense though. i thought that might have been my problem. but when i was lookin for these wheels on yearone i remember seeing spacers for sale witht them so i assumed i needed them.
