it is between the tire and the shock. there's a bar that goes across the car and the part i need looks like a small shaft that goes upward and connects to another piece. it has a nut on each end and some washers on it...i'm sure it might be a ~bushing~ of some sort but when looking at the parts store there are a few different kind...also, i don't have one at all on the driver's side...should i be worried?...

when my endlink broke the whole bar rattled like hell underneath the car...mainly over bumps side to side. Would make sence if only 1 side was mounted...

 

so i should only have one side mounted?...

 

No both sides need to be mounted, imo I would also replace the other one if old.

 

Get yourself two sets of these, 1 set for front and the other for rear. The page says "front endlinks" but are actually the correct size for front AND rear.
