Question about LCA's?

What would happen if one end was a solid steel grease-able rear bushing and the other end a rod end.Saw a set with these two ends on them.

i believe spohn makes the with one end with poly bushings and the other rod ends, other than the cost factor i dont really know the advantage of mixing the two.

I would think that the solid steel end would bind.

I know of a few companies that make LCA's with the poly/rod combo but what I'm asking about is a solid rear bushing/rod end combo. And Aperion that's what I was thinking.

oh i see, i have no idea really why they would use solid steel bushings, i know i had CE slide-a-links in my s-10 and i had to put solid aluminum bushings in the leaf springs, but i wasnt sure why exactly

A solid bushing would bind and the ride might be harsh. I would only recommend that for a drag type car. If you want a set up like that get at least poly bushings on the one end and good rod ends, the cheap rod ends rattle

Yeap thats actually what I meant, performance is great too. I run the ones from UMI, very nice just as the Spohn ones are. Good Pics.
