"drag launch" springs vs. sportline

with the addition of my glass hood, and all the weight reduction up front, my front end is sitting higher. on ebay, the drag launch and sportline claim to have the same amount of drop. 1.6 up front and 1.3 out back. is this true? i want to drop it then again i would like some straightline performance out of the deal. its seems to good to be true to kill two birds with one stone. also, im looking for opinions on shocks. its mainly a street car, so stock replacements, 1 level up with gas, or go big or go home with adjustables. lets hear some shock spring combos and overall satisfaction with aftermarket suspension parts. thanks in advance.

I'm running some no name 90/10's and moroso springs up front. The moroso's were trim to fit.

im running replacement v8 springs in the rear, and v6 springs up front. even with my poncho mill, it still sits at a nice height. for shocks, i got lakewood 50/50s out back and lakewood 90/10s up front. also i have no front swaybar up front and a "handeling" bar out back.

im very happy with this set-up, and the best part, you have a bunch of money on the springs. depending on how your car hooks, you may have to put a airbag in the passenger rear spring to help with leaving level.

The drag launch springs and sportlines may have the same static drop but they do not have the same spring rate. Drag springs are really meant for track duty only. They promote excessive weight trasnfer which can be dangerous on the street.

It is a harsh ride but you will love the performance. You can't have regrets when you upgrade the suspenion on these cars. They will all ride rough but will perform like a champ.

i had the drag launch springs from eibach they are blue. the front ones were so tall i couldnt get them on with a regular spring compressor w/o taking off the a-arms. so i never did install them, i put the rear ones in and they lifted the rear, the fronts would lift the front also. i just searched the internet for something like "eibach drag launch camaro 92" and found a few places selling them. that was like 2 years ago.

i have the eibach prokit now and it works nice, a nice slight lowering, they are black.

the sportlines will lower the most and will give a great stance, i was looking into getting them or some type of other real low lowering springs just because i am starting to hate wheel gap . the sportlines should be red in color.
