asking the experts....pro kit rake prob
I have done alot of search's on the pro kit the most recent people have been saying the have a rake prob low front and high rear.. I want to lower my car about a 1" on all corners..Thru the early part of the searches people were Recommending this kit but lately posts have said otherwise..So I have a few questions does the cars without the rake have the hatch full of stereo equ. causing the weight from the box and amps..batt ect. to hide the rake prob..I need some pics posted with the pro kit and if there is any weight in the rear of the car...Thax Jason

No picture i can post at the moment, but mine sits level, i hate it, i want my rake back, gonna put new rear spring mounts in and that should put it right where i want it. I do have 2 L5 solo baric's and a 800.4 and 1200.1 amp in the back.
In my opinion there is no universal answer on this one. Because part of it is a personal preferance (where one persons idea of a bad rake is different than yours) and the other thing is that not everyone runs the same tire setup and that makes a difference as far as the look. The Pro-Kit is advertised to drop the car 1" front and rear. IMO the Sportline is the kit that will give you what I consider an odd rake. But again its all personal preferance from what I've already gone through. If you need ultimate control of the ride height look into Weight Jacks. The only downside of those is you probably wont find progressive rate springs short enough. Downside for some, no problem to others.

No rake problem with the ProKit here. The car stis nice and level, without a system. The back of your car will sit at least a 1/2 inch too high in back though if the springs are not seated properly in the pucks.

Prokit installed properly in the isolators and nothing in the back as far as weight. Sits too high for my liking, but doesnt bother me enough to cut or buy something else, until I opt for airride (the performance is awesome so why change it?)

I would opt for more of a drop than the pro-kit though with that car. 2" or more would look hot on that thing. Good luck bubble-boy.
