Suggestions...

Alright so i got a set of eibach pro-kits coming next week. What should i do honestly cause funds arent gonna allow me to do much. Wait to put them on and do shocks/struts at the same time or just put them on and can plan on changing the shocks/struts in like 4-5 months. My car has factory shocks/struts now that show no signs on being worn out...maybe they have been replaced but not to my knowledge when i get under the car.

I also have to be ordering $475 worth of tires for my snypers which right now i do not have that money.

Now knowledge wise i do not know if i was going to take the front suspension alone, and being without power tools. I think i can do the rear by myself.

How is this combo:

KYB GR-2 Struts / eibach pro kit front
Bilstein Shocks / eibach pro kit rear

?

I really cannot fork out $600 on bilstein struts for a long time...

Id really appreciate some options/opinions if anyone has any.

Thanks,

-Steve

I cant speak from experience since I replaced my stock shocks/struts/springs with bilsteins and a prokit all at once, but with worn out shocks and lowering springs, I'd expect it to be a harsh ride....but thats about it

I had kyb ajx in front and kyb gas - a - just in the rear with the pro-kit and they ride perfect. Not to harsh and not to soft. The ajx are adjustable so u could stiffin them whenever u want. The gas adjust were $30 each and the ajx are $120 each from summitracing. people ran gr-2 and they were perfectly fine with them. The gr-2 struts are $50 each and the gr-2 rear shocks are $20 each

Between springs and shocks- forget the springs for now. Do the shocks and struts.

What I personally would recommend to you to do for now is just plain and simple...

take your existing front coils out. The remove the factory isolator (rubber top dounut) completely. Cut 1/4 coil off the spring (cutoff wheel). Wrap the top coil entirely around the spring wire that touched the upper can (where it would meet the old isolator) and put and good layer of molygrease all over the electrical tape where the spring touches inside the upper chassis can. This should lower you about 1 - 1 1/2" range and get rid of the slop in that rubber isolator. Then PUT ON GOOD STRUTS (Koni Yellows).

Just trim the rears about 1/2 coil to start- and reinstall- drive the car around the block and then check the car's rake- if more needed, then trim another 1/4 coil in increments until you get the desired rake.

NOTE: By putting heavier rate springs on worn out old shocks and struts will render the car unstable and will bong off every large road imperfection. YOU NEED GOOD SHOCKS TO CONTROL HEAVIER RATE SPRINGS (I capitallize this last statement for emphisis of importance, not yelling)

If those are the orginal shocks and struts they are shot. I bet you can play them like a squeeze box when you get them out.
