Help me out. Ultimate G-machine with Height Adjustability.

I'm getting really close to dropping a good amount of bank on the suspension & brakes for my car, so far i know i'm adding LS1 brakes and and i am keeping the stock 16x8 rims. I will also be getting spohn suspension parts like tubular a-arms, ect.

I would really like some suggestions on suspension combinations that have been successful for good weekend auto-x and track cars, AND maintained height adjustability. I'd really like to keep the car at stock ride height for the street, to keep my spoiler intact, but i'd also like to drop it a bit for shows and track days.
And i'd like to keep the balance as neutral as possible, but if that can't happens thats ok too. Suggestions, please!!

For the rear you have quite a few options for weight jacks/adjustable spring perchs.

Here are a few examples of adjusters.

Attached is a picture of the ground coil adjuster next to an allstar adjuster.
the allstar adjuster is part # All56119 on this page. http://www.pitstopusa.com/searchresu...ategoryID=1793

For the front im not too sure of many options, but I know ground control make a front kit too.

If youre interested in the ground control setup call these folks (http://www.stranoparts.com/index.php) at

Tell them your application and they will hook you up with the right springs for the job.

I'm using Ground Control weight jacks.

Weight jack are good for tweaking the corner balance of the car, but not great for regularly raising and lowering the car. If that is what your looking for, check out a air bag system.

If you get the weight jack out of balance the car won't handle as well as it could and it can also cause premature lock up on the brakes with one corner or another. If your just looking to have fun at autocross you'll be ok with your plan, but If you want to compete, the mods you mentioned will put you in classed that it will be VERY hard to be competitive with a street car.

What class is that? I will probably be competeing in auto-x regularly, and attending track days at willow springs often, where i would have a chance to adjust my height for track conditions. However, i want to raise it when i am done so i can at least enter my driveway without destroying me front clip (i did this one, it put me $500 in the hole.) Aside from chassis and suspension, i'm adding a Moser 12 bolt, a 700R4 built by Dana at Probuilt and the 460hp 502lbtq 383 from Golen. I would just like the best combination for auto-x fun and street driving, while remaining competetive to STI's, ect ect.

With the mods you listed you'll be in (with the SCCA) Street Modified 2 against Vetts and turbo Miatas, or C-Prepared against gutted race cars or one of the Modified classes.

You can download the SCCA rules from: http://www.scca.org/_filelibrary/Fil...solo_rules.pdf

yah if you don't wanna run any of the crazy classes...I run STX with koni yellows/eibach pro-kit and hawk pads as my only suspension/braking mods. i have the same wheels as you w/ 245s in the front and 255s in the rear (g-force sports) and the car is very neutral.
