I was planning to get a set of Spohn front control arms and read in a post on here that they actually lowered the front of the guys car further. Is this a confirmed fact or possibly just a bad set of control arms? My car is already low with the Sportline springs and if this is true it would be way too low. Anyone got any info on this?

No. They're the same length as stockers, just stronger. If your car is lowered you will need the relocation brackets to correct the geometry. They're a good idea for stock ride height cars too if you plan on going to the strip. The brackets were good for .132 in the 60' and .3 in the 1/4. Not bad for $60

hey guys. i have the spohn front a arms and i did ask steve at spohn when i purchased them if they will lower my car any. i was very concerned about it since i have eibach sportlines on it. he told me no. but i got them on and i never thought to measure the before, but i could fit about 2 fingers between the top of the tire and the bottom edge of the fenders. now i have about 1/8 to maybe a 1/4 inch from the top of the tire to the INNER fender. but i also took out the rubber spring insulators and rapped the top coil with heater hose. but the rubber insulator is only about a 1/4 inch thick, if you want to see the stance of the front of my car go to bigbrakeupgrade.com and look at the customer feedback. mine is the black car. i feel they did lower it at least a half inch

That's pretty low! Way too low for me. I have the TT2 wheels in 17"and with the backspacing I chose (4") that wouldn't clear my fenders. I'm going to keep researching this as it is possible that you not reinstalling the isolater may make the difference. If anyone else is using these please post up.

ok my rims are 17x8 in the front with a zero offset. and it has 245/45/17 rubber wrapping them as well. the zo6 brakes up front moved the wheels out 3 tenths of an inch more then the stock brakes. it will be an issue for me so im going to have to chop the inner fender and roll the front fenders. but the stance is awsome so i will deal with it. i have been told by some people they do lower the front. ive heard the 1/2 inch as well.

Anyone know of any other brand of front control arms for a third gen? Something that doesn't lower the car?
