Am I the only one who still has creaks AFTER installing SFCs?
My TDSs are bolted on for now (just put them on), not welded...but I still admit I expected a little more from them. Maybe its just my car, but while it definitely feels more solid over bumps (and transmits power to the ground better), I still have a creak at the RH top corner of the windshield where it meets the t-top...and its obnoxious.
Along with a couple other squeaks, I guess I expected more improvement. Still a good mod, though. As for the Edlebrock STB and wonderbar...WOW

um well till you get them welded to the sub frames and to the floor pan of the car along the whole length of the bar they can still move some. you could also have a loose windsheild, the windsheild provides most of the stiffness to that area of the car cause the a-pillars are so small.

I realize that...I just was surprised there wasn't more of a benefit from the bolt on end of it...

Well I have fully welded ones and I still get the occasional creak now and then. It only happens over super rough roads or turning into a steep driveway or something. normal driving the body makes almost no noise. I would guess this is the case with others as well. My car is a T-Top car too.

I agree...normal driving you wouldn't normally hear much. Highway expansion joints on the ride home yielded ZERO noise at 75...which led me to believe all was solved
The car also felt more solid at highway speed.
Then I hit a bad road off the highway...it does feel more solid over bumps for sure, and combined with the TDS wonderbar and Edelbrock STB, I can't get over how well it corners with 7 year old, crap tires!!! The steering response is phenomenal...
Overall, I'm not complaining...I don't expect a 15 year old Camaro to feel like a new car. But I admit, I did expect more...I was hoping it would feel as solid as my Z28 did before I put in the SLP bolt ins on that one...it doesn't

Welding will make a difference it did on mine. As you know t-tops take away alot of strength.
I would think the connectors that install a long the pinch weld would offer more support. lots more area to weld to. imo.

Finally had a chance to try out my home built ones out yesterday. They've been on the car for some time now but I haven't driven with both front and rear swaybars on the car since the 9" went in. No more creeks and groans pulling in and out of my shop driveway
