Needing help choosing new struts and schoks for my IROC

yes, yes i know, this topic has been discussed hundreds of times on here, i did use the search tool, read through tons of information, and came up with a few questions still unanswered...

brief brief summary of my setup
- 13" C4HD brakes by Ed Miller on 2" dropped spindles
- stock suspension as of now
- GMPP 350, rebuilt 700R4, stock rear with 3.73's

my intentions, to have an excellent handling, looking, driving iroc-z (powertrain redone ina few years tho)
-i do not have any intentions of ever seriously road racing the car, autox, or anyhting related to that, minor drag racing, mostly strteet using, and the occasional races at the traffic lights
...

yesterday i ordered the Alston Bolt in SFC's which i will bolt and weld in, and a TDS wonderbar...
- i also ordered MooG IROc "replacement" springs, and new spring isolators.. because i do NOT want to lower my car any furthur, as the 2" drop spindles got teh front end sitting perfectly where i want it...

the car "floats" alot,a nd is "loose" over bumps, so i want to tighten that up

---since i am doing all 4 springs, i want to do the shocks and struts as well .
reading through the tech articles on here, ive noticed people have a preference for Bilsteins, Koni Yellows, and an aversion to KYB's , some acceptance of Tokicos and Monroes.

For my street application, with replacement stiff springs, waht would you recomend? I would LIKE to have an adjustable feature, as i plan on getting all adjustable tq.arm. panhard bar. etc down the road..

Are tokico Illumina struts reputable enough on our cars? 5 way adjustment seems about right for my setup i' say, which would be the same as the Koni yellows.

Any opinions are greatley appreciated, and i know this topic has been beat to death on this board, but i was curious about my application with stock style springs and 2" drop spindles.

and in terms of "adjustment" how easy is it to do, simple clicks of a ****, or do you need a tool/screwdriver to turn them?.... (each brand)

and when replacing srpings/shocks/struts, are there any otehr parts that should be replaced then? spring isolators? other things like that>>>?

also
found these on ebay.. eBay Motors: TOKICO ILLUMINA SHOCKS CAMARO FIREBIRD 82 - 92 FREE S&H (item 160027007683 end time Sep-14-06 22:44:24 PDT)

I recently put Koni yellows on my '90 IROC. Before I bought the shocks and struts I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of suspension techs. Based on everything I learned I would recomend you either choose the Konis or the Bilstiens.

The Koni front struts can be adjusted with the turn of a **** on top of the strut tower, however to adjust the rear shocks you must remove them from the vehicle. I believe the fourth gen spec Koni rear shocks fit on the third gens and can be adjusted on the vehicle, however they are a bit more expensive if I remember correctly.

The Koni red and yellows have some slight over lap in there dampening characteristics but with the IROC springs I think the yellows are a more suitable choice.

I have a 91 camaro with the 2" drop spindles and the moog springs in front, 1-1/2" lowering springs in the rear. I run the bilsteins all around. The car handles great and rides pretty well. No complaints.

Bilsteins for driver/weekend toy.

Serious autocross or road course go Tokico or Koni's.

Bilsteins are not adjustable. I wouldn't want adjustable shocks because once you get them set to where you want them, you don't mess with them again. I feel that the bilsteins are already set right for this setup.
