Sway bar link question
I was at autozone... saw two packs of sway bar links on clearence... bought both for 8 bucks...
They were different sizes...
The fronts were exactly the same size as one of the packs so I figure sweet... prothane sway bar links for $4....
The rears however...
The stock rears were 1" longer than the other set... I was going to just use the old hardware with the new bushings but I decided to use the new set anyways... SO I replaced the rears with the new ones that were an inch shorter... drove it around all day... everything seems great.
My question is... me putting the shorter links on the rear sway bar... good idea..? Bad idea? My opinion... a shorter link would tighten up the rear... Any input on this?

I remember when I did mine they were different sizes. You'll be alright, I think the longer ones went in front because of the difference in sizes of front and rear sway bars. When I got my car, all the links were broken off, and this is singlehandedly the best thing I have done to my car so far in terms of handling, and I still have no complaints.

The 1LE end links on my 36/24 combo are all the same part number (same length). In the fog of my memory, I'm thinking the sleeve is supposed to be 2 5/8.

oh, make sure you search on this topic, I remember a handful of debate on it before.
You want the bar end tabs parallel to the ground.
Cutting the tubes screws things up. You want to tighten the nut until it bottoms out on the threads.
