Are the (or were the) front springs indexed correctly?

The bottom coil of the front spring (where the coil ends) should be positioned in the A-arm between two indexing holes/drain holes. If the coil doesn't sit (or isn't indexed), the front end of the car will sit high and will look like a 4x4. No amount of time will "settle" this problem... Take a look under the car. Raise the front tires up enough so that you can get a good look at the lower a-arm. You will see two small holes on the inside of the arm (closer to the body side). If you look at the pic,
the two small holes nearest the bushing side within the spring pocket - these are the holes on which the bottom coil should rest (or be indexed).

Are you saying the front sits higher than the back now, or just that the front sits higher than it did before the swap...

If the front is sitting higher than before, but not higher than the back theirs probably nothing wrong. Keep in mind the car is 15 years old and those original springs were bagged out and sagging...

If the front sits higher than the back i would say they sent the wrong front springs...

Sounds like the shop didn't get the spring in the upper seat correctly. This will raise the car substantially.

Nooo! Don't cut the spring. If you can't fix it take it to someone who can. The spring is not seated in the upper cup properly. Do you really think a lowering spring will raise your car 3" without you cutting it? No.
