yes you can put 1/2 shorter ones on there and it'll help it out somewhat.

Where do you get 1/2" smaller ones? Also how would this affect/effect driving and road feel?

any parts store typically has the poly bushing ones from energy suspension, just measure the center metal piece and get one 1/2" shorter.

if your car is lowered you should get shorter endlinks to keep sway bar angles in check. if it's not lowered don't worry about it.

I dont just want to hack it or anything. So how do I know what correct length to have? I can order endlinks but nobody sells shorter sizes?

energy suspension sells poly endlink ones in probably 30 different lengths. Not sure why you didn't read that as it was posted earlier in the thread, you don't go into vatozone and say "hi i'd like endlinks for 84 camaro, but make them shorter". Their computer won't help, they usually sell them down one of the aisles or they can be ordered once you figure out the length from advance auto parts or similar places.

A proper suspension should have the end of the swaybar (where the hole is) parallel to the hole in the control arm. Or as close as you can get it(it may interfere with other things).

Depending on how low you lowered it depends on how it should be spaced, none of us here can tell you exactly what you need w/o the car infront of us. I had custom aluminum spacers made for mine because I couldnt find endlinks short enough.

Will it work w/o shortening them? Obviously yes, it has for you for 3 years. Will it work better properly spaced? Yes.

Nobody makes different sized endlinks....just in case you do lower your car. So I am looking at custom work.

So is that why endlinks come in 19mm-24mm? <~~~For the rear

Hey I'm just learning too.

ES makes different length endlinks. I have a chart out in the garage somewhere if you would like part numbers and lengths. IIRC there is about 10 on the chart. You dont HAVE to have custom work, I did because I wanted it this way. You can get new center bolts and carefully cut your stock spacers. Or go buy the closest kit.

The 19mm-24mm describes the DIAMETER of the swaybar, for the MOUNT bushings, not endlinks. Bar diameter has no effect on the endlinks.

chart was laying right ontop of stuff.

1.00" -- 9.8122
1.625" -- 9.8120
2.00" -- 9.8123
2.375" -- 9.8125
2.625" -- 9.8117 (commen replacement for stock setup on 82-92 fbodys)
2.875" -- 9.8118
3.375" -- 9.8119
3.4xx" -- 9.8124
4.25" -- 9.8149
4.50" -- 9.8121

i heard( not sure though)that the hole in the swaybar for the end link should be parallel with the side rail (the front sub frame) is this right?

So try one of those as reading up top someone stated you want endlinks 1/2" shorter....to start with anywho...plus I am only lowering my car 1" maybe only .75"....so I dont see going to short with my setup...but these are what i should start with?????

You could try one of them 2. Are your springs already in and been driven on? If so, turn the wheels and look to see how hiked up your swaybar is, and measure to see what it would take to get that end parallel

should be parallel with the a-arm where the endlink goes thru.
