How good is Energy Suspension

Guys,
I'm getting ready to give my 83 a few parts for the year and my bushings are shot... I've worked in auto parts for several years prior to entering the bearing world... has anyone purchased the kit offered for third gen firebirds and camaro's... if so what was your experiance.... I'm debating between ES, Moog and Spicer...

Re: How good is Energy Suspension

All I've ever run was ES poly bushings. No problems yet.

Re: How good is Energy Suspension

Depends on what bushings you are replacing. Poly isnt always the correct answer.

Planning on using the set offered through jegs suppose to be all bushings for front end... swaybars, a-arms, tie rod boots... ect. ect.

That should be fine. The tie rod boots and whatnot are just for show, but the a-arms, swaybars, etc, are great. I have ES stuff all over the car (haven't installed the a-arms yet, everything else though) and it's great.

I am using them for end links and sway bars front and rear. No complaints here either.

Re: How good is Energy Suspension

My car has all poly and hem joints .The ES poly a-arm bushings are a pain in the but to replace without a real press . The car still rides nice too good luck.

Re: How good is Energy Suspension

Ive used their stuff in my 89 and in my VW and in numberous customer VW's with no problems. The only thing is to make sure to grease them well or they seem to have a tendency to squeak.
