rear sway bar pics

hey guys my car never came with a rear sway bar. i been looking for pics of cars that show where it connects to the suspension... or the body wherever. i know it uses muffler clamps to the axle but i dunno where the endlinks attach and if my car even has the place for it.

thanks for any pics provided.

The sway bar end links attach to the brackets I've shown. Unfortunately, I sold my last set yesterday. I'll send some out for powder-coating in the next week or so.

Re: rear sway bar pics

You can see the end link body bracket in this photo. This is on the right rear of an 82 Z28. Sorry eveything is rust coated, but that goes with the age of the car

The bracket is on the front inside of the wheel well. I expect Lon also includes some mounting instructions with his parts.

I'd be surprised if the mounting holes weren't already there.

Re: rear sway bar pics

Here's a real crappy pic that includes where it mounts to the rear end. The bushing is held on by a U-bolt.

Re: rear sway bar pics

The holes are there, but they most likely will not be tapped. Mine were not. IIRC it was a 12x1.75 but dont hold me to that. Check the supplied bolts.
