I'm surprised no one mentioned this, but where the rear shock mounts on the body is barely reinforced. A car from the rust belt can even have these mounts broken through with only new shocks. If you go the air route, reinforce that area! Unless you want to be driving along one day, hit a bump, and then have your shocks join you on the inside of the car.

I inquired about this but wasnt sure. My mounts are in great shape and I dont plan on usin them to raise the entire rear weight of the car, just want a little lift and adjustability. Plus I wont be carrying anything in it anyhow. Should be fine...right?

Well, you're going to be raising it over stock height, with stock springs. The springs will expand a little, but will be supporting MUCH LESS of the body once you get above stock height. Even those Moog CC springs will only give you a little bit more leeway. The higher you get from stock height will only increase the amount of force on the mounts. I'd reinforce them. Definitely cheaper insurance to have them reinforced now instead of having them repaired when they bust through the metal.
