freshening up front end.

Hey guys. I have a 91 RS that rides like a lumber wagon. I am looking to freshen up the suspension. When I drive I can hear washers in the front end jingiling ( I can see the washers from under the car) and it just feels sloppy as heck. I was wondering what I need to get. If there is like a full front end rebuild kit? And how hard is it to do. Thanks guys.

Sounds like you need new swaybar endlinks to start.

ditto to Apeiron. I have your same car. i bought it about a year ago, and the same thing happened. It was the first thing i replaced. pep boys has a set for 25-30$ i think. just measure the non threaded distance between the two inner washers for the right size, or take one with. If you want some good suspensio parts, check out spohn performance. spohn.net. they sell EVERYTHING to upgrade your stock suspension. I have almost everything they make under my car. it handles better then 90% of the cars ive driven. they do sell a full front end kit, whether you want just bushings or complete steering mechanism, they have it. even coil over kits and tubular k-members. ckeck them out.

Energy Suspension makes and end link kit as well. While you are replacing the end links you might as well go ahead and replace the sway bar bushings.

Re: freshening up front end.

If washers are jingling, bushing are shot, or bolts are loose.

As for the turning pop, by bet is a ball joint. That's the usual culript of pops.
