Lowered my IROC

Well, after almost 17 years owning this car, this s my first major mods. Lowering it. Technology has changed over the years when it comes to springs. Eibachs gives a good drop but retains the stock ride which I want. Take a look.

It's only a 1" drop. These are Eiback Pro Kits. One of the best.

The ride still feels like stock but the cornering has improved almost 110%

Next is track bars and a strut bar. Maybe Bilsteins all around.

Looks nice. It's getting close to time for me to buy new springs, and I'm going with lowering ones as well, I believe.

Re: Lowered my IROC

looks good, i installed the sportlines 6 months ago and i was amazed on how much the handling improved. both kits work great the prokit is alil stiffer in the rear but i think they could both use stiffer springs in the rear. i wanna rip out my rears and put in 250-350lb springs in the rear to give me a stiffer ride. nothing wrong with the sportlines

Interestingly enough, your fender gap "looks" similiar to mine after Moog 5665/5662 replacements. Would you mind measuring from the ground through the center cap to the fender lip?

Yea, I'd be interested in that number also.

Re: Lowered my IROC

A 1 inch drop makes these cars go from looking good to looking INCREDIBLE. Just perfect!

Re: Lowered my IROC

The springs will help the cornering, but they will kill the shocks. The best bet will be some shocks designed for a lowered ride height. KONIs are the way to go. It will be a world of difference with good shocks.
