Re: how big

First...........WELCOME to the board.

You can put a 275 50 15 on the rear and maintain the stock height (they are 25.9" tall). They will fit a 7.5 - 9.5" wide rim.

For the 3.5" go with no bs or minimal.

Re: how big

I got 295/50x15 for my street tires, it keeps the car at a good height.

Re: how big

the only smallest backspace i can find is 1.75 ive heard that on the 4th gens you have to run spacers because they hit the calipers does that hold true to the thirdgens as well? i was also wondering what size rear wheel should i run and what backspace? i like the idea of the 295's do they rub anywhere?

Re: how big

15x10 rim with 5.5 backspacing, 295's are a tight fit, but no rubbing

Re: how big

Rolling the fenders would be a good idea with any tight fit tire, but it's not needed. I only have one pic recently but it's not of the rear tires it's just a general shot. My street tires are dunlop gt qualifiers, not the stickiest out there but I don't need to be spending a lot of money on sticky street tires, that's what slicks are for.

Re: how big

I have 8.5 inch wode convos, i have 295/50/15 and they work great, no rubbing, i do have rolled fenders. They ride a bit loose in the rear buy that is because it is not a short side wall, they are BS tires too, nothing special.

1.75 back space will fit fine with no spacers. I have them on the front of my car.

Re: how big

My 275/60/R15's are 28" tall and fit fine on stock ride height without rubbing. On 2nd gen snowflake 15x8 wheels.
It needs the fenders rolled though, it slices the sidewall sometimes.
