new springs to go with bilstein struts???
a guy at autozone said it would be a good idea to replace my stock springs if i go with bilstein struts and shocks. because the struts will over power them or something?
for one thing- where is a good site or store to get new springs?
i dont want to lower the car or do i?
and is it possible to get stock height springs but better than stock performance or longer life?
or do i need to replace my springs at all?
and if i do use a lower spring kit to i need to replace anything else to compensate for the inch lost
and wil teh bilstein struts accept without any modifcation lower than stock height with the springs?
sorry for all teh questions hopefully the many of you who have aleready put bilsteins on your car can help me.

Re: new springs to go with bilstein struts???
Your springs are 20 years old or so, so why not replace (even if struts weren't a question). I'd suggest you consider Spohn's IROC-style replacement springs (Moog 5665 and 5662). I have no experience with Bilstien products, so I can't comment there. I am, however, using the above springs with Koni Reds and I've been very impressed with ride quality.

IIRC, the Konis are cheaper. Check out shox.com for pricing. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Many members, I think, would maintain that the Bilsteins are best for all-out road handing. The Konis might be more satisfactory for a daily driver. I like the latter because they're adjustable. I have no reserations about recommending them. Others will no doubt offer differing opinions.

Re: new springs to go with bilstein struts???
actually i can get a full set of bilsteins at autozone for 540 plus tax, so bilsteins plus those iroc style stock springs sounds liek a good combo for me.
im not gona race it but survive a few corners around the road sounds liek a plan
anyone who has any other opinions would be appreicated thanks guys
