Car sits .4 inches higher on driver's side...
Is this within a reasonable margin of error? I just got all he springs and shocks/struts changed all the way around with IROC springs and Konis, and the IROC springs were not brand new... but they seemed like they were in good shape to me.
I know the springs are indexed correctly, so that's not the problem.
Either way, the car is handling fantastic and it feels soooo good to drive now...
Problem is, next on the list is subframe connectors, but if the frame is tweaked by a half inch Im not sure I want to proceed. I dont care on a purely aesthetic basis, but when it comes to welding sfc's in place....
It's a hardtop car with an L03, so I would hope it's a lot stiffer than the t-top cars and wouldn't shift as much over the years, but it's still got 190,000 miles on it. No accidents on carfax and the paint is certainly crappy enough at this point to be original... so I'm at a loss. Is slightly less than a half inch within an acceptable range?

yea i noticed something similar on my car, though i have yet to measure it. i read in a thread somewhere around here that a bent panhard bar can cause the passenger side to dip making the driver side slightly higher. the measly stock panhard bar looks like it'd bend easily so i'm going to relplace it soon with a tubular one- most likely UMI and non-adjustable (my car isn't lowered so i don't think i need adj.). hopefully that will solve the problem.
Re: Car sits .4 inches higher on driver's side...
no car is ever even on all four corners. you could have passenger side springs on the driver side. most cars will usually be lower on the driverside then the passenger side cause there is weight on the driverside moreso then the passenger side. measure some cars on the dealer lots. i got a new 07 scion tc and lowered it right away. i measured stock and it was half inch higher on passenger side then drivers side. i lowered it with eibachs and its 1/4 and 1/3 difference. the only way to have a 4corner even car is adj. coilovers and set them. my iroc i had snapped an endlink on the passenger side rear sway bar and i noticed it because the car sat lower in the back on that side then normal. there can be many culprits causing this but dont get to upset about it unles its like an inch....lol

Ah, that's cool. It's about a half inch and it bothers me... but if t's just one of those things, then it's just one of those things.

gonna love those subframe connectors! car will have more snap on takeoff due to less chassis flex.
only regret i had was doing the sfcs BEFORE new shocks/springs. be happy you did it the right way! talk about amplifying an already horrible ride, haha.
all is good now, smooth as a button on the highway.
