Energy Suspension Bushing - Require maintenance?
I just got the master set of energy suspension bushings for the front end of my car. When I picked it up the mechanic said I should be wary of regreasing them every year.
Is this true and if so, why?
Curious about this...

With the exception of the greaseable sway bar bushings (TDS), I've never lubed any of the ES stuff--and I've got a ton. No ill effects that I can see or hear.

Same. If you ever get your hands on the grease that comes with the ES poly bushings you'll understand how puddle splashes will NEVER wash this stuff away. (It takes a LOT of effort to get your hands clean, I mean a lot).
Mine haven't squeaked yet. If you ever notice it does start to make noise, you can always disassemble that part and add some poly grease (white silicone grease IIRC). I wouldn't do it as preventative maintenance like an oil change or pumping grease into grease nipples though.

My sway bar bushings have zerks so I give them a shot once in a while when I'm under the car. Have never done anything to the rest of them.
I used to have a set on my old Dodge that squeaked unless you gooped them up every few months.
