I heard this could be done to put ls1 brakes on the front anyone done this?
Is it really possable?
What kind of mods are needed?
Or is it better to use Ed Millers Adapters.

Re: 4th gen struts in a third gen
Any one else know where I can find directions, Or a write up on doing this.
It seems to me if i went this route, over modifing stock spindels & adding brackets. I could use 4th gen rims with out spacers. could be wrong though it's happened before

Re: 4th gen struts in a third gen
??? What? How would you get 4th gen spindles to work on a thirdgen? Completely different front suspension set up. Thirdgen uses a strut... 4th gen uses dual a-arms and coil overs.
I cant see this being done without welding on the spindle...which is a pain.
If you are just wanting to run LS1 brakes, you are way better off just using one of Ed's kits...or bigbrakeupgrade...or fabbing your own. Way less work and messing around. If you want to run LS1 wheels as well, adapters from Skulte would be my recommendation. Thats what I run and they are great.
Ive never heard of anyone making anything from the front end of a 4th gen work...but, Ive been wrong before. Atleast a couple times. So...if there is info for this out there, post up.
