where are the wonderbars
where are the wonderbars
This is going to sound stupid and i know i'll laugh at my self down the road but bare with me cause I am new to this. I have been wanting to get a wonderbar for my camaro. Nothing shows up in when i type it in to summit or any auto part site. So is there a pro name for it? Also it seems like alot of you buy them online so is that how I have to order it from a site or can i get one at summit?
Thank you

If there is a pick'n pull near you, you should take a walk through there. Chances are there will be a stock wonderbar on a thirdgen in there. Instead of spending $40 plus shipping, chances are you can get it for about $5 at the junkyard. Works just as well too.

Re: where are the wonderbars
you can get both but let me tell you that the handling on my 92 RS got WAY better with a stock one from a donor which was an 87 IROC, now the only thing I got to get for mine is some grease for the sway bar bushings cuz they squeak lots when i go over a bump.

Re: where are the wonderbars
The Wonderbar was originally fabbed as a Band Aid for the steering box area of IROC's which was prone to cracking (because of the 16" wheels). It wasn't the performance piece then that it seems to have become in recent years. As a preventive I recommend it.
