grunt noise when turning

Just lately I have been getting a "grunt" noise when turning AFTER the engine bay has heated up. When I first start the car in the mornings and take off it doesnt do it.

Seems to be coming from right front
only after engine bay is warm
can feel strut vibrating when it turns.
Does it suspension compressed, uncompressed, or static height

I am wondering if this is a sign of the bearings in the strut mounts going bad? I think about everything else on this suspension has been redone in the past year.

Re: grunt noise when turning

Hey Jay, (one guess who I am)

Sound to me more like a wheel bearing or race going bad on you. That strut mount bearing will not rally make any noise like that and if it did, a quick squirt of motor oil onto the strut bearing would yeild an answer and silence it any moaning when its pivoted with steering imputs. The first thing that came to my mind was the unibody seams comming apart in the engine bay and making a shift stress grunt or maon when the engine heats and distorts it slightly- who know.... this is a curious one I have yet to hear of.

Thanks D,
Totally forgot I had posted this tell yesterday when I drove it again.

I'll try putting some oil on that bearing. At apperance, it looks like the bearing is off centered compared to the left one.

Looked to see if strut was hitting anything. Nope.

I'll try to look over the seams and see if I see cracks
