Could you post some experiences with airbagged cars?
I'm currently in an upgrade mode with my car, and want a lowered vehicle, and better handling than the old bicyclepump-like shocks I currently have. Given I have had a low vehicle before, I felt the lack of comfort took away some of the joy driving it, especially on speedbumped roads.
Which is why I'm considering some kind of airbag system.
Now, my biggest concern is this; Would airbags be poorer for handling than springs? At the same ride height... Or would it be about equal?
I also wonder if I couldpossibly combine an air ride kit with bilstein shocks, for good handling. Can one do that? Or do one have to use whats in the kit?
Will airbags be stiff when the car is high up, and soft while it's low? If so, that would be the complete opposite of what's really needed.
I guess I want handling the most, but just curious if thats possible with an airbag kit to get some height when needed.
