Check your torque arm and tranny mount bushings.

Re: Where the HELL is that noise comming from?

Does it do it when you turn or over speedbumps up front? I had a bad upper strut mount that clanked around a bit under a mid-speed hard turn.

Not to state an obvious possible problem...

But is there any chance it could be your exhaust rattling? That's below you, and even if the rattle is in the back the sound vibrations would move up the entire pipe.

Dude, I had that same issue. Does it have a bit of a rattling sound? I had that happen so I took a long look. Ended up being my sway bar end link bushings. The stock ones were so degraded that a couple of them were almost non-existant. Swapped out some poly's and the noises are gone. You can easily take a look at them without having to jack up your car. Takes two minutes to inspect.

Re: Where the HELL is that noise comming from?

ok trying to describe this.... i guess.... take a wrench. and tap it on your floor board. that sound it makes. its like that only faster. i just replaced the sway bar linkage. that helped some of "a" noise but not "the" noise. same deal with the shock bolt.
im starting to think MAYBE, but doubt it, it the shock mount? its the only other thing it could be? more info on this?

On the same note.. Mine makes this horrible cracking noise when I do a very hard right, or left turn, I was leaning toward a motor mount, but a broken spring seems in order because of the right side sitting lower to the ground..

Check the easy things, like a loose dust shield on the rear brakes will give you that sound (nice rattle over bumps).
