I saw that article, too. It was nice to see some thirdgens in car craft again. Especially when they were hanging with the newer cars.

Re: Car craft thirdgen glory!
yes it was refreshing also reading threw this months hot rod and a thirdgen camaro now holds the land speed record for camaros at bonneville. John anglos camaro did a 269.959mph pass at the 3 mile thats insane! try to imagine going that fast in one of our cars lol.

Re: Car craft thirdgen glory!
I saw the CC article too. I was surprised to see how bad the stopping distance was of the one thirdgen with vette brakes. It was also interesting to see that a new Dodge Charger (or was it the Challenger...) can almost out brake a Lamborghini (difference was like 6ft). I want to be part of the next challenge but my dyno run would be terrible since I have a bone stock 305. I'll kick *** in the autocross!!

Re: Car craft thirdgen glory!
ya the braking surprised me too i almost wonder if he had something going wrong with them he should of had a better stop distance then that. once i get my rs done id love to enter too id enter my z28 right now but its pretty much a straight line runner wouldnt do to bad on the dyno but id be screwed in autocross lol.
