Would the wheels stick out too far on a Iroc? I like these wheels from centerline and actually 2 others from the same line. But the deepest they BS them is 5".

What do you guys think?

it will stick out almost an inch, thats just the rim, then the tire will add more. Sorry, but unless you narrow the axle they wont work.

Common backspacing for a 15x10 is 5.5". A 5" backspace will push them put 1/2" more.

Depends on what tires you want to put on them.

Better to get 6" BS because then you can get spacers as needed, while you can't un-space a 5" BS.

Re: 15X10 5" BS

I'm planning on running MT 275/60 drag radials. The 5" bs is the most they offer. Other options are same wheel in a 8" with 4.5 bs and 255/60 drag radial. I'd rather have the 10 though unless everything sticks out too far.

There's no good reason you can't put the 275 on the 8. A non-GM magazine did a test a while ago, with 275/60 BFG drag radials on 8" wheels versus 275/50s on factory 7s. They noted that they were getting the entire tread on the pavement with the 8s.
