how to get 15x10 rims to fit out back
what backspacing would I need to get 15x10" rims to fit out back with out to much of the tire sticking out beyond the fender. What company makes some 15x10 rims that fit in the rear. THere is no where around here that rents or sales that backspacing tool.

well on those rims i have a set of 26x10x15 M&H DOT slicks that i picked up for $50 probably change them after xmas to a set of 26x10x15 hoosier slicks. i havent gotten a chance to put them on the car yet becuz the lug nuts i have on there now with the ARP wheel studs are to short and i started stripping the tops of the lugs so im waitin for 5 more new lug nuts to come in at work (already have 5 new ones sitting) but after i get them and fix my little problem with the lug nuts ill let you know how everything fits.

I have the Weld Prostar 15X10 with 5.5 backspacing. I am using MT ET Streets 28X13.5X15's. I had to pound in the inner wheel well a bit to get enough clearance. The are still an inch or more from the lca's.

THATS JUST BAD A$$!!
wow...thats without a doubt the sweetest tire/rim set up ive ever seen..can you hook me up with the mt slicks product number ..is that a dot slick or a 2-ply drag slick?..how much pounding did you have to do?..i might go with a 28 x 12.50 tire ..i wouldt have to pound anything then ,right??.l8r
one more thing, you evercut into the tire with the fender when you go over bumps /pot holes?

I have air bags in the back coils to stiffen up the suspension and keep the tires from hitting the lip of the wheel well. You should be able to look up the ET Street sizes on Jegs or Summit.

It hooks not bad on the street. I just got them on about a week ago and the track up here is closed for the winter. I think I will put 90/10 struts on the front before spring though.
